Blueberry would like to join your meetings. Mostly so she can learn how to obtain 3 dozen cookies all at once.

Woof! Woof! Golden LAUGHS! Me to a cookieholic ... but did you say 3 dozen WOWie. Hope your tummy is okay. May I suggest drink lots of water. Mom's theory is drinking lots of water lessens the craving for a cookie. Mmmmm sometimes it works. Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar

LOL!!! Excellent photo story! If Sherman were not at the Rainbow Bridge, he would be a charter member of this group. He, too, would want to know how you managed 3 dozen cookies all at once! We need your tips!

Here's a tip: be very uninterested; preferably napping; until they get into the shower.

I had the same thought - that he was going to be dreadfully sick. But no. That euphoric look stayed on his face all afternoon and evening.

Thanks! See my reply to Blueberry above. Also: my mom is not completely stupid. She put the cookies way in the back corner of the counter with her purse, a toaster, and a basket of onions and garlic in front BEFORE she took her shower. Tip #2: move obstacles aside VERY quietly and neatly - do not push anything to the floor - and GENTLY draw the cookie container to to the edge of the counter. If you do this right, your owner will have the best expression of stunned disbelief on her face that you have ever seen! Your pal, Toby

Good point, we'd have made an emergency trip to the vet in that case!

I am laughing hysterically! That would have soooo been my past pup of 16 years Zaya...with a completely innocent look or Max's current bodyguard Thunder Kitty whose favorite thing is to get into the cabinet where I keep my coffee and spring out at me (it's at eye level) in the mornings when I'm still half asleep! What a killer post! :) I sooo joined your blog!

We think the apology may be somewhat lacking in sincerity. But we could be wrong.

Amy said...

Oh wow! I can't even imagine the shock of a cat springing out like that! Thank you so much for joining my blog :)
